I have been learning about community building for this last year. Yes, it is brand new for me. However there is a lot of online marketer that proofed this method. It is actually work and you can try it too like what I do now.
I have been joining an Indonesian forum and share everything I know there. I get a good reputation and much of member in that forum know me. After a year I join this forum, I try to sell something. Wow, I get a lot of buyer. Now, there is more than 400 people buy my product.
Building community actually is easy to do. You can try to join with exist community. I think this is the fast way to start. Like what I do now. After join with a big community, try to give something there. Remember, you must have a vision. Who are you? What is your ability? If you expert in blogging, than you must give everything you know about blogging. Always share your knowledge until they can recognize you as a blogging master.
After that, you try to selling something. Maybe, you can sell your own writing collection. You can also sell you tips collection in that community. Give some bonus from master resale right product.
